Simon Danis-Pepin (born 11 April 1988 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who plays for the Rivière-du-Loup 3L of the LNAH. ==Playing career== Danis-Pepin was drafted in the 2nd round, 61st overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks. He played his college hockey at the University of Maine of the Hockey East. On July 10, 2009, he was signed to a three-year entry level deal with the Blackhawks. Unable to gain a spot within the Blackhawks, Danis spent each year of his contract between affiliates, the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League and the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. On August 1, 2012, he was signed as a free agent to a one-year contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. Four games into the 2012–13 season, Danis-Pepin was traded by the Solar Bears to the San Francisco Bulls in exchange for Keaton Turkiewicz on October 22. In the off-season, Danis-Pepin remained in the ECHL, signing a one-year deal with the Fort Wayne Komets on July 16, 2013. In the 2013–14 season, Danis-Pepin spent the duration of the year with the Komets, totalling 27 points in 60 games.
